beijing

I'm in Gothenburg in Sweden. Here is very peaceful city. I enjoyed the journey of ferry here today. It's like that one of Korean guy who I met in London said. It was fascinating. During my travel, I’m really enjoying conversations in English with foreigner I met in Hostel and so on… English is fantastic, isn't it? however, on the other hand, I really feel that I have to study more. It's true as well.
　By the way, today, I found strange advertisement of Chinese restaurant.[see picture of 22nd.] 'Beijing' is capital of China as you know but on the characters of that we can see 京都. 京都 means Kyoto, which is one of the famous city in Japan. If it was Beijing in Chinese, it'd be 北京, I think.
I can't understand. What do you think?
